Wroxham is known as the "capital of the Broads" and sits on the River Bure in the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Its domestic building stock reflects the Broads vernacular — red brick, pantile and occasional flint, with properties that face the challenges of high water tables and damp ground typical of the Broadland environment.
