Bricklayers in Bacton, Suffolk

Bacton is a village in the upper Waveney Valley of north Suffolk, between Diss and Stowmarket. Its character is typical of the High Suffolk farmland — dispersed farmsteads with traditional red-brick and clay-lump farm buildings, and smaller cottages in brick and pantile. Extensions in this rural part of Suffolk often adjoin older agricultural outbuildings where lime mortar and reclaimed brick are appropriate materials.
